Introduction
This guide walks you through resetting a member's NordPass Authenticator. This action allows members to set up their Authenticator from scratch in the NordPass mobile application or the browser extension they currently use.
Note: Resetting the Authenticator via the Admin Panel will reset the feature everywhere it was activated, not only on the particular application or browser extension where the issue occurred.
Here's what to do
To reset the NordPass Authenticator for a member whose Authenticator unexpectedly stopped working, follow these steps:
- Log in to NordPass Admin Panel as the organization Owner or Admin and select the "Members" button on the left.
- Locate the member whose access to Authenticator you wish to reset, and click their email to view their profile.
- Next, click on the "Reset Authenticator" button.
- Afterward, prompt the member to set up the Authenticator again using our guide.
Note: When an organization’s members reinstall the NordPass application or extension, there’s no need to reset the Authenticator, as they will be able to set it up immediately.
