Introduction
NordPass allows you to share saved information with others, giving them access to your logins, passkeys, secure notes, credit cards, or personal info without manual entry.
This guide will explain how to share NordPass items with other users while using mobile devices.
Before you start
To make sure everything works properly, please use iOS 17 version or later for Apple devices, and Android 9 version or later for Android devices.
Note: Sharing items is available only to NordPass Premium or Business users. Time-limited sharing is offered on all paid plans, but not for free users. Free users can view shared information, but any changes they make are visible only to themselves, not to others.
Here's what to do
- Open the NordPass application.
- Locate the item you want to share and tap the "three dots" button on its right side, and select the "Share" option
- Enter or select the recipient(-s) email address and tap the "Next" button.
- If you wish to configure the permissions and expiry time for all recipients, tap on the "Default Permission" and "Default expiry time" buttons and choose your preferred ones.
- Alternatively, if you want to set different permissions and expiry times individually, tap the "three dots" button near the recipient and select the configuration you want.
- Next, press the "Share" button to finish the sharing process.
Note: NordPass items can only be shared with other members if both their accounts are in the same data center: accounts in the U.S. data center cannot share items with accounts in the EU data center, and vice versa.

- The sharing state will change to pending until the recipient accepts the shared item. Once the item is shared, the recipient will receive a notification and will have to accept the shared item to have access to it.
