Problem
You have enabled the Autolock feature for a specific time frame; however, the NordPass application/extension locks earlier than the configured auto-lock time.
Note: Even if the Autolock feature is set, for security reasons, you might be asked to enter your Master Password if you have changed your Wi-Fi spot, rebooted your device, or lost Internet connection. However, it only changes the time period of locking your vault and will not have an impact on how many times you will be asked to log in using your email address, the 6-digit code, and the Multi-Factor Authentication code if enabled.
Common symptoms
- The NordPass app or extension locks sooner than the selected auto-lock time.
Troubleshooting
- Double-check settings using our Autolock setup guide to ensure it’s correctly set up.
- Uninstall and install the NordPass application/extension.
- Disable applications that could interfere with our service (VPNs, ad-blockers, etc.).
Additionals Tips
- Keep in mind that the Autolock feature is device-specific and does not sync across platforms. Therefore, you will have to enable it separately on each device you use.
