Introduction

NordPass offers an easy way to import your passwords from other password managers using a CSV file or by manually creating a CSV file and importing it to NordPass. However, before proceeding with the import, you may need to format the CSV file correctly.

This guide will outline how to organize your CSV file to match NordPass import formatting and how to import the CSV file to NordPass.

Here's what to do

How to format the CSV file

If you plan to store any additional personal information within NordPass, you may also add it to the same CSV file. To do this, you'll need a tool capable of opening and editing CSV files, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Follow these steps to format the CSV file:

  1. Download the NordPass CSV file template

Note: The Shared folder is supported only for business and enterprise users.

  2. Edit CSV in Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, or Excel by filling in your information. Please also remember to remove any irrelevant information from the file, as the import to NordPass will not function properly.
