How to generate a new Recovery Code

NordPass Recovery Code is a randomly generated 24-symbol code that can be used to reset your Master Password. This guide will explain how to generate a new Recovery Code using your current Master Password or biometrics.

    1. Log in to NordPass, and open Profile > Settings.

    3. You’ll be notified that all previous Recovery Codes you’ve generated will no longer be valid. Choose Reset.

    4. In the next window, you will be asked to enter your Master Password. If you have biometrics enabled to unlock NordPass, you can use it instead of entering your Master Password.

    5. Once the new Recovery Code is generated, save it somewhere safe because it is the only way to access your items if you lose your Master Password. You can Copy code to your clipboard or Download as PDF.
