How to change MSP Owner

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to transfer MSP Owner rights to another MSP Admin in the NordPass MSP panel.

Before you start:

• The new owner must already have the MSP Admin role.

Here’s what to do

Transfer MSP Ownership to another MSP Admin

1. Navigate to the Members page in the MSP panel.
2. Select “Transfer Ownership”.
3. From the list, select the “MSP Admin” who should receive MSP Owner rights.
4. Confirm the changes to finalize the transfer.

After confirmation:

• The selected MSP Admin becomes the new MSP Owner.
• The original MSP Owner is automatically demoted to MSP Admin.

If the original MSP Owner cannot access their account

• If the current MSP Owner cannot log in and therefore cannot perform the ownership transfer, contact NordPass Support for assistance.

Additional tips

• We recommend having more than one MSP Admin in case the original MSP Owner loses access to the MSP panel.
