In this article, you will learn how to set up and get started with the Sharing Hub feature for NordPass.
What is the Sharing Hub?
The Sharing Hub feature is available only on the Admin Panel for users with owner rights. The owner must be established upon registration, and more owners can be added later. The Sharing Hub allows you to view shared items within the organization, manage users, groups, shared items, folders, permissions, and ownership from a single place.
Note: this feature is available only in the Enterprise plan.
How to set up the Sharing Hub
To get started with the Sharing Hub, you will first need to enable it by following these steps:
- Log in to NordPass Admin Panel.
- Press the Sharing Hub button:
- Alternatively, select the settings option:
- Next, choose the admin panel option:
- Afterwards, press the Sharing Hub's toggle button:
- Once the pop-up message appears, confirm that you would like to enable the feature by pressing the turn on button:
How to use the Sharing Hub
Once enabled in the settings, you can access Sharing Hub via its designated tab in the NordPass Admin Panel:
While viewing shared files/folders, you are able to navigate through categories via breadcrumbs:
How to filter shared items
After selecting the Sharing Hub tab, you can filter out categories, person or group, and member status. By default, the view is arranged in descending order, with folders being first:
Once a person or group filter has been selected, a fourth option to filter by permission will appear:
How to view the shared list
In the Sharing hub, you can see the list of people/groups that the item or folder has been shared with by pressing on the chosen item:
Afterwards, you will see the full list of people who have access to the shared item:
How to change permissions
Additionally, owners can change the permissions - the ability to edit, share, view, and autofill:
How to transfer ownership
In order to transfer the ownership of the shared item, follow these steps:
- Access the Sharing Hub, and press on your chosen file or folder:
- Click on the permission button, located to the right of your chosen person or group:
- Select the transfer ownership button:
- Afterwards, select the transfer button:
How to remove access
If you wish to remove access to the shared files, follow these steps:
- Go to the Sharing Hub section, and select your chosen file or folder:
- Next, locate a person or group that you would like to remove access from, and press the permissions button, located to the right of it:
- Afterwards, select the remove option:
- Press the remove access button to confirm your decision:
