Setting up Breach Monitoring

Breach Monitoring is a Premium NordPass feature that allows our users to scan their selected email addresses and be informed in case it has appeared in a recent data breach. 

 

Below are the steps on how to set up Breach Monitoring in your NordPass application:

Setting up Breach Monitoring in desktop app and Web Vault

 

  1. Log in to your NordPass desktop application or Web Vault, open Data Breach Scanner in the Tools bar, and click on Breach Monitoring

  2. Select Add Email Address.

  3. Enter the email address that you want to start monitoring and select Save

  4. A Verification Code will be sent to the added email address. Enter the Verification Code and select Continue

Verified email addresses will be automatically scanned daily and if a new breach is detected, you will be informed with an in-app notification and an email. 

 

Setting up Breach Monitoring in Android app

 

  1. Log in to your NordPass Android application, select Tools, and open Data Breach Scanner.

  2. Tap Breach Monitoring.

  3. Select Add Email Address.

  4. Enter the email address that you want to start monitoring and tap Save

  5. A Verification Code will be sent to the added email address. Enter the Verification Code to verify your email.

Verified email addresses will be automatically scanned daily and if a new breach is detected, you will be informed with an in-app notification and an email.
