Breach Monitoring is a Premium NordPass feature that allows our users to scan their selected email addresses and be informed in case it has appeared in a recent data breach.
Below are the steps on how to set up Breach Monitoring in your NordPass application:
Setting up Breach Monitoring in desktop app and Web Vault
- Log in to your NordPass desktop application or Web Vault, open Data Breach Scanner in the Tools bar, and click on Breach Monitoring.
- Select Add Email Address.
- Enter the email address that you want to start monitoring and select Save.
- A Verification Code will be sent to the added email address. Enter the Verification Code and select Continue.
Verified email addresses will be automatically scanned daily and if a new breach is detected, you will be informed with an in-app notification and an email.
Setting up Breach Monitoring in Android app
- Log in to your NordPass Android application, select Tools, and open Data Breach Scanner.
- Tap Breach Monitoring.
- Select Add Email Address.
- Enter the email address that you want to start monitoring and tap Save.
- A Verification Code will be sent to the added email address. Enter the Verification Code to verify your email.
Verified email addresses will be automatically scanned daily and if a new breach is detected, you will be informed with an in-app notification and an email.
