NordPass imitation scams

Scammers may send phishing emails that impersonate NordPass or claim to be from a NordPass representative. These messages can look convincing, so it’s important to check the sender and the contents of an email before clicking links, downloading attachments, or providing any information. If something about a message seems unusual or suspicious, don’t interact with it until you’ve verified that it’s legitimate.

How to verify an email from NordPass

Check the sender’s email address

Start by checking the full email address, not just the sender’s display name. A display name can be imitated easily. Some of the most common legitimate email addresses and domains we use to communicate with NordPass customers include:

  • no-reply@mail.nordpass.com
  • support@mail.nordpass.com
  • support.business@mail.nordpass.com
  • success@mail.nordsecurity.com
  • support@nordaccount.com
  • support@mail.nordaccount.com

These are some of our most commonly used addresses, but this is not an exhaustive list, and you may receive legitimate NordPass communications from other addresses associated with Nord Security services.

Look for signs that something is off

Phishing emails often try to create urgency or pressure you into taking immediate action. If you're unsure, don't click links, open attachments, or provide any information through the email.
