How to create and manage organizations for MSP

Introduction

This article explains how the MSP Owner and Admins can create, edit, suspend, delete, and monitor organizations from the MSP Admin Panel. It also covers viewing usage data and filtering by plan or organization for easier management and reporting.

Here's what to do

Add an organization

1. In Organizations, select “Add Organization”.
2. Enter the organization’s name.
   • Choose the subscription plan: NordPass Business or NordPass Enterprise.
   • Choose the License type: Standard, Trial, or NFR.
      

Edit an organization

1. In the Organizations tab, select “More Options” next to the organization you want to edit.
2. Select “Edit”.
3. Change the organization’s name and/or subscription type.
4. Select “Save”.
    

Suspend or reactivate an organization

1. In Organizations, select “More Options” next to the organization you want to suspend.
2. Select “Suspend”.
3. To reactivate a suspended organization, open the same menu and select “Reactivate”.
    

Delete an organization

1. In Organizations, select “More Options” next to the organization you want to delete.
2. Select “Delete” to permanently remove it from the MSP Admin Panel.

Deleting an organization is permanent. Confirm you no longer need the organization before proceeding.

Note: Deleting an organization also deletes all users and their data. Deleted organizations cannot be recovered.

View usage data for managed organizations

1. Go to the “Usage data” tab in MSP.
2. Review used seats for the previous and current months.
3. Download historical data as a CSV file if needed.

Filter by plan or by organization

1. To filter by plan, click the dropdown on any plan and select the plan you want to view.
2. To filter by organization, click the all organizations dropdown and select the organization you want to view.

Additional tips

• Suspending an organization pauses access for NordPass users; use Reactivate to restore access when needed.
