Introduction
This article will show you how to export passwords from Safari and import them to NordPass.
Note: Safari versions 18 or later support password exporting.
Here's what to do
To export your saved passwords from the Safari browser, follow the steps below:
- Open the Safari browser and select the "file" button located on the upper-left side.
- Click on the "Export Browsing Data To File..." button.
- Switch the “Passwords” toggle to the ON position.
- Press the "Export" button.
- Select the folder where you would like to save your passwords .ZIP file and save it.
- Use your password or Touch ID to export passwords.
- Unzip the file by double-clicking it.
- In the newly created folder, you will find a .CSV file with your exported passwords.

Additional tips
- Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
- Consider deleting your passwords from Safari afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.
