How to use Password Generator in NordPass on desktop devices

Introduction

This guide will show you how to use NordPass's Password Generator feature on desktop devices.

 

Here's what to do

  1. Open the NordPass application, and select the "Tools" button located at the lower-left side.
  2. Afterward, press the "Password Generator" button.
  3. Next, you will be able to change the password length and create the password.
  4. If you wish to generate a new password, click on the "Generate" button.
  5. After creating a password, click on the "Copy" button to copy it and paste it wherever you need it. 
  6. Alternatively, click on the "Save" button, enter additional Password item information, and click on the "Save" button to save the password item to your NordPass Vault.

  • You can use the Password Generator tool directly on our website.
  • Keep in mind that if you are using NordPass for Business, your organization's owner can set up a custom password policy, which may limit the features of the Password Generator.
