How to use Password Generator with NordPass browser extension

Introduction

This guide will show you how to use NordPass's Password Generator feature on browser extensions.

Before you start

Currently, the NordPass extension is available with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers. 

Here's what to do

1. Open the NordPass browser extension, and select the "Tools" button located at the upper-left side.
2. Afterward, press the "Password Generator" button:
   
   
    
3. Next, you will be able to change the password length and create the password.
4. If you wish to generate a new password, click on the "Generate" button.
5. After creating a password, click on the "Copy Password" button to copy it and paste it wherever you need it.

• You can use the Password Generator tool directly on our website.
• Keep in mind that if you are using NordPass for Business, your organization's owner can set up a custom password policy, which may limit the features of the Password Generator.
