Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to remove unwanted documents from your NordPass vault to keep your vault organized and up to date.
Before you start
- Attachments are only available for premium NordPass users.
- You must have a document created in NordPass.
Here’s what to do
Mobile devices
- Open the NordPass application and log in.
- If you wish to remove only one document, locate it and tap on the "Three-dots" button next to it.
- Next, select the "Move to Trash" button.
- Alternatively, if you wish to delete a few documents, select the "Three-dots" buttons, located at the top right corner, or tap an item longer and choose the "Select Items" button.
- Afterward, select the items you wish to delete and tap on the "Trash can" button.
Note: If the document has a reminder, confirm the prompt by clicking on the "Move to trash" again.
Extension/Web Vault
- Launch the NordPass extension or Web Vault.
- If you wish to remove only one document, click on the "Three-dots" button next to it and select the "Move to Trash" button.
- As another option, you can remove a few documents at once by selecting them and clicking on the "Move to Trash" button located at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If the document includes a reminder, you’ll need to confirm the prompt by selecting the "Move to trash" button once more.
Additional tips
- Removing a document to the trash will always delete its reminder.
- If you restore a document, remember to manually set a new reminder if needed.
