What are Documents and how to use them

A Document is a feature that you can use to store your documents, such as IDs, driver’s licenses, passports, and more, in an encrypted vault, keeping your information secure. You can also set reminders of when your documents expire.

You can upload scans, images, or other file types and create custom fields to capture and store key details for quick reference. All the documents in the vault are encrypted with the XChaCha20 solution.

Moreover, the new feature allows you to set reminders regarding documents for particular dates in the future. This allows you to stay ahead of expiration or renewal dates. Notifications will be delivered via email and in-app alerts to ensure that you do not miss an important update.

To get started, follow the steps below for your device

    1. Head to the NordPass dashboard, click documents, and press add document.
    2. Select the type of document you will be adding.



    3. Fill in the information about the document.



    4. You can also add a reminder now or edit the document later on.



    5. After filling in your information, save the document, and that’s it!
