Introduction
This article will show you how to export passwords from Norton and import them to NordPass.
Here's what to do
Browser:
- On the top-right corner of the browser, click on the Norton Password Manager icon.
- Click “Open vault” from the pop-up.
- In the unlock your vault window, type your vault password and click “Open vault”.
- Click the Norton Password Manager extension icon, then click “Vault”.
- In the Norton Password Manager window, click on the three dots, and select “Export vault”.
- In the Protected vault Action window, enter your vault password to export the Norton Password Manager data.
- To import your saved passwords to NordPass, follow our guide.
Norton application:
- In the “My Norton” window, click “Open” next to “Device Security”.
- In the Norton main window, double-click “Internet Security”.
- Click “Password Manager”.
- In the Norton Password Manager window, click the “Settings” icon available at the bottom of the window.
- Click the “Import/Export tab”.
- In the Export panel, select the “CSV” file format.
- Click Export and type in your vault password.
- Click “OK” to confirm.

Additional tips
- Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
- Consider deleting your passwords from Norton afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.

- You can access your vault backups at My Documents\Norton Password Manager Backups\<Norton account name>.
