How to update the NordPass application

Introduction

For the best performance, we recommend using the latest version of the NordPass application. This guide explains how to check for available updates and update NordPass on desktop and mobile devices.

Here's what to do

Desktop

1. Open the NordPass application and go to “Settings”.
2. Click “Check for Updates.”
3. Review the pop-up:
   • If an update is available, follow the prompts to install it.
   • If no update is available, the pop-up will confirm you’re up to date.
4. After the update completes, sign in to NordPass again.
5. Alternatively, uninstall the application by following our guide and install it again (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Mobile

1. Go to the “Apple App Store” or “Google Play Store”.
2. Click “Search”.
3. In the search bar, type “NordPass”.
4. Click on the app and press “Update”.
5. Alternatively, uninstall the application and install it again (iOS, Android).

Additional tips

• You will have to re-login after the update is completed.
• Keep in mind that the browser extension is updated automatically in the background.
