How to set up NordPass extension on desktop devices

Introduction

This guide will show you how to set up the NordPass extension on your desktop device.

 

Here's what to do

  1. Go to our website, scroll down, and click on the desired extension, located at the bottom-left side.
  2. Select the “Add Extension” button.
  3. Alternatively, open the NordPass application and click on the "Cog icon" at the top of the screen to access settings.
  4. Scroll down a bit, and under the Autofill and Autosave section, click on the "Add NordPass browser extension" button.
  5. Afterward, select the browser to add the extension.

 

Google Chrome

  1. After selecting the "Google Chrome" option, click on the "Add to Chrome" button.
  2. Next, click on the “Add extension” button.

 

Safari

  1. Once the App Store opens, click on the “Get” button.
  2. Next, click the “Install” button, enter your password, and select the “Sign in” option.
  3. Once the installation is complete, click on the “Open” button.
  4. Afterward, launch Safari, click on the “Safari” button in the upper left corner, and select the “Settings…” button.
  5. Click on the “Extensions” button and tick the checkbox next to NordPass.
  6. In the pop-up windows, press the “Always Allow” button.
  7. Click on the “Always Allow Every Website…” button, and confirm your choice by pressing the “Always Allow on Every Website” button.
  8. If you wish to enable the NordPass extension only on specific websites, click the “Edit Websites…” button and select which websites are allowed or denied to use the NordPass extension.

    Note: NordPass extension for Safari browser is available only for macOS devices.

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. After selecting the "Microsoft Edge" option, click on the "Get" button.
  2. Next, confirm your decision by selecting the "Add extension" option.

 

Mozilla Firefox

  1. After selecting the "Mozilla Firefox" option, click on the "Add to Firefox" button.
  2. Next, click on the "Add" button to finalize the installation.

 

Opera

  1. After selecting the "Opera" option, click on the "Add to Opera" button.
  2. Confirm your decision by clicking on the "Add extension" button.

 

Brave

  1. After selecting the "Brave" option, click on the "Add to Brave" button.
  2. Next, click on the "Add extension" button.
