Introduction
This article will show you how to delete your NordPass account.
Before your start
Note that when we delete your account, we may retain certain information (such as billing information) for legitimate business purposes to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Read more about our data processing practices in our Privacy Policy applicable to NordPass personal accounts.
Here's what to do
You can delete your NordPass personal account in two ways: by deleting only your NordPass account or by deleting your Nord Account.
If you wish to delete only your NordPass account and keep other Nord Security products, like NordVPN and NordLocker, follow these steps on your mobile device:
- Open the NordPass app and log in to your account.
- Tap on the "Profile icon" at the bottom right of the window and select "Settings".
- Tap the "Delete account" option:
- Confirm by tapping "Submit a request", and you will receive an email from our support specialists to proceed with the account removal process.
To delete your Nord Account, including all Nord Security products and services, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Nord Account.
- Click on the "your email address" button located on the top-right side.
- Next, click on the "Account settings" button.
- Scroll down and click on the "Delete Account" button located in the account deletion section:
- Verify your email by entering the verification code sent to your email address.
- After you have verified your account, you will be provided with the next steps to delete your account.
- Alternatively, fill out our account deletion request form.
Note: Because Nord products' databases are interconnected, deleting only your NordPass account will not remove basic information, such as your email address, from Nord’s database if you have an existing NordVPN or NordLocker account. To delete all of your data, you must follow the full Nord Account deletion steps.
Additional tips
- We recommend that you save and/or export all your data from the service before deletion. You can follow the steps on how to export passwords from the NordPass article. If you delete your account, all your items and/or content stored on the service (i.e., NordPass vault) will be deleted.
