How to export passwords from Opera to NordPass?

This article will show you how to export passwords from Opera to NordPass.

Here's what to do

To export your saved passwords from the Opera browser, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch your Opera browser and click on "Settings" (the geared wheel in the left-hand menu). If you can’t see it, you should first click on the three dots and enable the sidebar "Show sidebar".
  2. In settings, click on "Advanced" and then "Privacy & security".
  3. Under "Autofill", go to "Passwords".
  4. Click on the three dots icon next to "Saved Passwords" and choose "Export Passwords". You should receive a prompt to enter your computer password to allow the export.
  5. Save the .CSV file to your device. 
  6. To import your saved passwords to NordPass, follow our guide.

 

Additional tips

    • Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
    • Consider deleting your passwords from Opera afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.
