Introduction
This article will show you how to export passwords from Firefox and import them to NordPass.
Here's what to do
To export your saved passwords from the Firefox browser, follow the steps below:
- Click on the menu button to open the browser menu panel.
- Click "Passwords". The Firefox about: logins page will open in a new tab.
- Click on the three dots top-right to open the Firefox menu, then click "Export Logins".
- A dialog box will appear to remind you that passwords are saved as readable text. Click the "Export…" button to continue. If your device's password is enabled, you may be prompted to enter it.
- You can choose the file name and location where this exported data will be saved as a CSV file.

Additional tips
- Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
- Consider deleting your passwords from Firefox afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.
