As the Firefox browser no longer provides any password export addons (since version 57), you will need to use third-party tools. There are several options to choose from, for instance, open-source FF Password Exporter. The FF Password Exporter works on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
To export your passwords with the FF Password Exporter, follow the steps below:
- Download and install the FF Password Exporter. The installation file is under the Download/Install section.
- Choose the Firefox user's profile directory you want to export passwords from. If you have set a master password to protect your Firefox passwords, enter it.
- Click the export button.
- Choose your file format (CSV), and save the file to your device.
Your Firefox password export completed, and you can now start your data import to NordPass.
