How to export passwords from 1Password to NordPass?

Introduction

This article will show you how to export passwords from 1Password and import them to NordPass.

 

Here's what to do

macOS:

  1. Open and log in to your 1Password application.
  2. Hover onto “File” at the top left of your screen, then hover onto “Export”
  3. Choose the account you wish to export.


     
  4. Enter your account password
  5. Choose “1PUX” or “CSV” file format and click “Export Data”.
  6. Select the file name, location, and click “Save”.
  7. To import your saved passwords to NordPass, follow our guide.

 

Windows:

  1. Open and log in to your 1Password application.
  2. Click on the three dots icon at the top sidebar, select “Export”, and choose your account to export.
  3. Enter your account password
  4. Choose “1PUX” or “CSV” file format to export your items and click “Export Data”.
  5. Choose the file name, location, and click “Open”.
  6. To import your saved passwords to NordPass, follow our guide.

 

Additional tips

  • Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
  • Consider deleting your passwords from 1Password afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.
