How to export passwords from KeePassXC to NordPass?

Introduction

This article will show you how to export passwords from KeePassXC and import them to NordPass.
 

Here's what to do

  1. Open KeePassXC and log in to your account.
  2. Click on “Database” in the menu bar.
  3. Select “Export” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the file format (CSV or XML) you want to use for export.
    1. CSV: Best for simple password lists.
    2. XML: Retains additional metadata like groups or notes.
  5. Confirm that you want to export your database when prompted.
  6. Choose the location on your device where you want to save the file.
  7. Click “OK” to complete the export process.

  • Never send your exported password file over email or untrusted channels.
  • Consider deleting your passwords from KeePassXC afterward to avoid having your credentials stored in multiple places.
