How to manage NordPass Tokens

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to generate and revoke tokens in the NordPass Admin Panel for use with the Activity Logs API, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel.

 

Here’s what to do

  1. Log in to the NordPass Admin Panel.
  2. Select the "Integrations" button on the left side, and click on the "Custom", "Splunk", or "Microsoft Sentinel" buttons under the "Events reporting" section, according to your needs. 
  3. Next, select the "Create Token" button, enter the Token's name, and click on the "Create" button.
  4. Copy the URL and Token, and paste them somewhere safe for later.

    Note: If you have chosen to create the Splunk token, only the Data Center information will be visible. 
     
  5. Confirm that you have saved the information by marking the option that you’ve saved the data, and click the "Done" button.
  6. Once the Token is successfully created, you will see it along with its expiry date.
  7. If you wish to revoke it, click on the "Revoke Token" button and select the "Revoke" button to confirm your decision.

 

Additional tips

  • Always store tokens and URLs in a secure location, such as a password manager.
  • If you suspect that a token has been exposed or misused, revoke it immediately and create a new one.
