Group provisioning setup with Docker

To set up group provisioning, user provisioning should be already active. After user provisioning is enabled, the encryption service needs to be deployed. The encryption service provides the possibility for NordPass to keep the zero-knowledge architecture. Follow the steps below to begin setting up group provisioning with Docker:

  1. Log in to your NordPass Business Admin Panel.

  2. Go to settings.

  3. Click users & group provisioning, and select the needed IdP provider.
    Note:If you have not yet set up user provisioning previously, follow the guides on user and group provisioning

  4. Select create configuration:

  5. Choose the cloud provider for the encryption service deployment.

  6. You will receive the configuration, make sure to save it.

  7. Go to Docker and log in.

  8. Download and install the Docker Desktop app:

  9. Open the computer terminal and insert the received configuration into the terminal.

  10. Run the configuration.

  11. Go to the Docker and open Docker Build Cloud:

  12. Create a cloud builder:
    Note: You will need to give a Cloud builder name; we suggest 'nordpass'.

  13. Select connect via Docker Desktop:

  14. Follow all the steps from the instructions in the computer terminal. Now, your Encryption server will be running on the cloud.

  15. Once deployment is successful, group provisioning will be enabled.

    Once you have followed the steps, he group provisioning status will change to active in the NordPass Business Admin Panel.
