How to set up 2FA codes with NordPass Authenticator

In this guide, you will find steps on how to set up two-factor authentication with NordPass Authenticator on different products:

• Dropbox
• Atlassian 
• Microsoft

Note: NordPass Authenticator is currently available for NordPass Business and Enterprise members on iOS and Android devices. The feature is available on Android and iOS mobile apps, and the new NordPass standalone extension. It can be enabled on a single device or single browser at the same time.

Dropbox

1. Log in to your Dropbox account.
   
   
2. Click your avatar and open Settings.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the Security tab and toggle the Two-step verification button to On. 
   
   
   
   
4. In a new window select Get Started and re-enter your Dropbox password.
   
   
5. Select Use a mobile app option to generate security codes with NordPass Authenticator.
   
   
   
   
6. You will see a prompt to scan the QR code or enter a code manually. Go to the NordPass Android or iOS application, open the Dropbox item for NordPass, and select Edit. If you do not have your login information saved in NordPass, create a new item. 
   
   
   
   
7. Select Add Two-Factor Code and scan the QR code from the Dropbox website. 
   
   
   
   
8. Enter the 6-digit code generated by NordPass to enable two-step verification.
    
   
   
   
9. Next, you can add a backup phone number and save backup codes. 
   
   

Atlassian 

1. Log in to your Atlassian account. 
   
   
2. Click your avatar at the top right corner and open account settings. 
   
   
3. Open Security tab and select Manage two-step verification. 
   
   
   
   
4. Enter your Atlassian account password and select Set up. Click Yes, ready to scan code in the next window.
   
   
5. You will see a prompt to scan the QR code or enter a code manually. Go to the NordPass Android or iOS application, open the Atlassian item for NordPass, and select Edit. If you do not have your login information saved in NordPass, create a new item. 
   
   
   
   
6. Select Add Two-Factor Code and scan the QR code from the Atlassian website. 
   
   
   
   
7. Enter the 6-digit code generated by NordPass and select Connect phone. 
   
   
   
   
8. Lastly, make sure to save your emergency recovery key. 

Microsoft

1. Log in to your Microsoft Account: https://login.live.com/ 
   
   
2. Open Security tab and select Two-step verification. 
   
   
   
   
3. You might be asked to verify your identity by providing a code sent to your email address.
   
   
4. Scroll down to the Additional security section and click Turn on under Two-step verification.
    
   
   
   
5. Select set up a different Authenticator app to use NordPass Authenticator. 
   
   
   
   
6. You will see a prompt to scan the QR code or enter a code manually. Go to the NordPass Android or iOS application, open the Microsoft item for NordPass, and select Edit. If you do not have your login information saved in NordPass, create a new item. 
   
   
   
   
7. Select Add Two-Factor Code and scan the QR code from the Microsoft website. 
   
   
   
   
8. Enter the 6-digit code generated by NordPass and select Next. 
   
   
   
   
9. Lastly, make sure to save your recovery code.
