Introduction

The NordPass allows you to configure the Autosave feature settings with more granularity. This guide will show you how to disable the Autosave feature completely or for a particular item type, globally, or just for a few websites.

How to disable Autosave suggestions globally

  1. Log in to the NordPass application, extension, or NordPass WebVault.
  2. Select the "Cog icon" on the upper-right side.
  3. Scroll down, select the "Autofill and Autosave control center" button, and choose the "Autosave" tab.
  4. Under the "Autosave controls" section, you can disable passwords, passkeys, contact info, and credit card items autosave and update suggestions by toggling off the specific item type: 


     

How to disable Autosave suggestions for a website

  1. Log in to the NordPass application, extension, or NordPass WebVault.
  2. Select the "Cog icon" on the upper right side to access Settings.
  3. Scroll down, select the "Autofill and Autosave control center" button, and choose the "Autosave" tab.
  4. Under the "Disabled autosave websites" section, you can use the input field to either search one of the websites that are already on the list or add a new website URL to the table:



    Note: A marked check box in the website list means that autosave suggestions are disabled.
      
  5. By default, once the website is added, all the autosave options are disabled. If you want to disable autosave for a specific item type for a website and keep autofill for other types, uncheck the box next to those options.

    Note: If you disable one of the global settings, it will take precedence over the settings set for a website.
      
  6. You can re-enable all the autosave suggestions for a particular website by unchecking all the checkboxes or removing the website from the table by selecting the "Trash bin" button:


     

Additional tips

  • You can also disable autosave suggestions when clicking on the don’t ask to save on this website, this will disable suggestions for that website for that particular item type.
