Create a new password item on a sign-up form using Android app

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to save a new password item directly from a login or sign-up form into your NordPass vault using the Android app. This helps you securely store credentials without manual copy-paste.

 

Here's what to do

  1. Firstly, enable the Autofill feature using our guide.
  2. Open the app or website and navigate to the login or sign-up form.
  3. In the input field, tap on the "Add new login" button.
  4. Review the prefilled values and adjust if needed - replace the suggested password with your own, or tap the "Password Options" button to generate a new one.
  5. Additionally, tap the "Show more fields" button to add extra details, such as assigning the item to a folder or adding a note.
  6. Tap the "Save" button to confirm and store the credentials in your vault.

 

Additional tips:

  • Suggested values are provided so you don’t need to type them manually. The last email address you used is suggested for the email field, and a secure, randomly generated password is suggested for the password field.
